"When I was a kid, I wanted to be an American. Everything I saw on TV, the Movies and heard on the Radio seemed to be creativity from the United States. Even Canada's history seemed boring, lifeless while the Americans had such interesting history. Then I actually grew up. Met my own history. Realized that we all have stories but it is how it is delivered or packaged that makes it come alive again.

To be able to take the experience and thoughts at mid-life, my perspectives and the stories of the people who make us great has been a wonderful thing. And during this whole process I’m learning what a Canadian is! I could not have written about love, peace, war and so much more when I was in my twenties. I love that nowadays with the internet and the awakening of the spirit, all ages are contributing to the voice. As it should be."
