Going through curiously confusing times these two lines and a tune kept repeating in my head:

"Somedays I feel so confused I'm sure God is quite amused"

Certainly God or the Higher Power wouldn’t be amused at my confusion or suffering but at my inability or ability to find my way through the maze smiling, like a scientist watching the white mouse as she finds her way through the lab maze.

At times people were placed in my path just as I needed them. Once I understood that the spirit of divine is always there, especially through tough times, it only took a couple days to complete the song with that message.

I dedicated this song to Ben and Margie Walsh for all their experiences through their earthly maze. (son Mcpl Jeffrey Scott Walsh, died in Afghanistan, Aug 9 2006)
